Internship in festival administration

The Centre for Creative Arts (UKZN)

invites applications from newly graduated persons

to apply for a year-long internship in festival administration.

The interns will work alongside the Centre’s festival curation team for the

Time of the Writer festival, Artfluence Human Rights festival, Durban International Film Festival and Poetry Africa festival.

The interns will work both online and meet physically at the Centre for Creative Arts subject to prevailing Covid-19 conditions.

The Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R3760 and will have access to the Centre’s festival events.

Internship in Festival Administration

The Centre for Creative Arts (CCA) at the
University of KwaZulu-Natal invites applicants for a year-long internship in
arts administration. Consideration will be given to applicants who:

  • Are under the age of 35
    years
  • In possession of at
    least a first degree or diploma with specialisation in the arts or
    communication from an accredited University or College
  • Have an ability to
    research content and who possess good writing skills
  • Can work to meet strict
    deadlines
  • Demonstrate a keen
    interest in pursuing a career in the arts
  • Are Durban-based

 

The applicants will work alongside the
Centre’s festival curation team for the Time of the Writer festival, Artfluence
Human Rights
festival, Durban International Film Festival and Poetry
Africa
festival. The interns will work both online and meet physically at

    the work of the CCA.
