Sibahle Khwela is a cum-laude graduate of the Undergraduate in Drama and performance studies at the Durban University of Technology. She is also the recipient of the Dean's Merit Award 2020 alongside 11 Awards received during her qualification. Some of her awards, such as the Best Newcomer 2018, Leadership Award 2019, versatility Award 2020, reflect her passion for being a versatile leader in the Arts sector.

Sizwe Hlophe

Sizwe Hlophe

Sizwe Hlophe is a KwaZulu-Natal (Empendle and Port Shepstone) based interdisciplinary artist. He received his MA in Theatre and Performance from the University of the Witwatersrand and BA (hons) in Drama and Performance studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Hlophe has performed and showcased his works on various platforms such as Jomba! Contemporary Dance experience, Dance Umbrella, National arts Festival and Botho Pan African Arts Festival. He is influenced by Afro-Surrealism, African metaphysics, Gender studies, representation, race and Performance studies. Hlophe trained in Dance, Choreography and Live Art with Jay Pather’s Siwela Sonke Dance Theatre. He has also trained in Television and Film production skills with the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission.
He hopes to one day create a space for artists to explore and further their crafts without limitations.

Philile Njikija, 24 years old. She found her passion for Art when she was approached by fellow Artists, then she joined a Dance training program in 2017 in KwaMashu School of Dance Theatre where she performed in a myriad of festivals including the JOMBA Festival and Durban Dance Movement Festival. Then she went to study at Durban University of Technology where she was given an opportunity to perform at the National Arts Festival and got a chance to direct a feature film; an adaptation of Euripides Madea as her directing project. She has completed her Diploma in Drama and Productions Studies in 2021 and she has joined the Centre for the Creative Arts as an intern in 2022.

Sinazo Gamedala is a mixed-media visual artist from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Gamedala has a Bachelor of Art in Visual Arts and Honours in Fine Arts degree. Her majors were Digital art (theory and practical) and Fine art in Ceramics.

Andisa Mpisi is a Xhosa female born and bred in KwaZulu Natal. She's a bachelor of Art in Dramatic Arts graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand. With a NQF 4 in Film and Television Production, and an interest in South African Sign Language. She's a writer, director, actor, drama and theater in education facilitator, theater maker and art advocate driven by the motto "There's a plan for the children of this world and I am part of it".

Senamile hopes that one day she will have a seat at the African Union as she aspires through humanitarian work through the arts.

Zipho Masengemi, Born and bred in Ladysmith, Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium graduate from AFDA Durban who majored in Film Editing. Throughout her university career she acquired a couple of basic skills in the lines of Film and Television such as Visual Effects, Production design, Producing as well as Scriptwriting.
