Poetry Africa is calling for traders to apply for stalls at the festival’s finale in the Rivertown precinct.

The 6 day long festival (12 – 17 October) will close with a daylong programme of activities, including Reading, Slam Jam, Open Mic and an astounding performance by Nakhane Touré. The festival is looking for traders who primarily sell the following products:

      ·         Clothing and textiles

      ·         Arts and Crafts (Prints, Toys, Jewellery collectables etc.)

      ·         Music (For sale, no live performances)

      ·         Books

NB: These products are merely an idea of the type of products that we are looking for in traders, this is not an exhaustive list.

The accepted traders will be given a trestle table and a table cloth. The cost of acquiring a stall is R100, which is payable before the festival. The closing date for applications is the 26th of September 2015, at 16:00.
