Aziz Siten’k (Côte d’Ivoire)

Kone Abdul Aziz, alias Aziz Siten’k, was born in Abidjan Port Bouet in Côte d’Ivoire. As an English graduate, Aziz Siten’k is passionate about communication. He enrolled at HETEC Mali (School for Advanced Studies in Technology and Business) where he earned a Pro License in Business Communications and Advertising in 2010 and a Masters in Communication and Human Resource Management in 2014. He has two slam albums: the first was released in March 2011, an album of 16 songs entitled Tounga (Adventure), and the second album of 17 tracks entitled Doungare (Mirror), whose official release is scheduled for December 2014. Aziz Siten’k furthered his musical experience after three years of intensive training in music theory at the Conservatory of Arts and Crafts and Multimedia Balla Kouyaté Fasséké, Mali and 45 days of training in musical compositions and performances at North-Eastern University, Boston/ Massachusetts/USA. 

Aziz is currently one of the leaders of the slam scene in Mali, as well as the founding president of a cultural association called Agoratoire ‘Arts and Culture’ and Director of the International Festival of Humor Slam and Mali (FISH MALI).
